Rowan has been a thief/scout for the sorceresses for years. She has an 
aversion to magic using as she's seen the shit the sorceresses do. 
As part of a noble household she knows who has money and who doesn't 
and as a bastard gives no fucks about stealing from them. She has 
pilfered money and gems in small enough amounts that it has gone 
relatively unnoticed and unreported. She also knows which magic users 
in the area might have components worth pilfering etc. She may be on 
Hugh's radar because of it without him knowing exactly who's been responsible.
