We will talk to Gregor about the Globster and vampires.  We will look for potions and holy water.  
(We can buy +1 magic weapons at the Winter Wolf weapon shop)  

We visit Gregor and ask about the Globster and Vampires.  He has several naturalist assistants.  We tell him of what vampires and the Globster.  He doesn’t know nay thing about vampires.  Sailors brought the Globster to him and he held in in his saltwater tank.  The Secret Police took it away.  He doesn’t know anything other than it tried to reach his mind.  He thinks it was a unique/unusual creature but there must be more of them.  He has not seen one before.  

We reconoiter the Phyla House.  It is 2 story tall, door on front and back sides.  No activity observed by Oz/Roland.  Bedrooms upstairs, living room, kitchen, library.  We enter the house through the back door.  

	•	Kitchen – well stocked.  No fresh food here.  
	•	Servants Kitchen – Thin layer of dust.
	•	Sitting room – nice furniture, thin layer of dust.  Stairs up.  
	•	Library – Desk with ledgers, bookshelves.  We examine the bookshelf.  Hemophelia book opens the bookshelf and we give the book to Geoffraie (+1 Medicine).  

Gwyneth detects Undead (8) below us using Detect Evil.  Some are moving.  A wide spiral stair leads down from the open bookcase (The Moonwell).  Various doors off the spiral stair.  We cast Pass without Trace (+10 to Stealth, leave no tracks) 30-40 doors

1st door – Coffin in room.  Vampire in coffin.  We attack, hurt it, it gets out of the coffin, does his psychic damage, fears Gwynith, and she’s runs out of the room, he fights us, marina splashes the vampire to stop it regenerating, Gwyneth Smites it.  It transform to moonshadow, enters it’s coffin, Roland stakes it.  Hughe Blesses the coffin.  Hughe and Gwyneth chant a prayer to Ajana.  

We look for a portrait of Lolani Phyla.  The vampire has an amulet of protection of Sigrid. We killed Maddox Phyla.  Roland get’s Phyla’s Portrait.  Gwyneth sense of Undead feels that there are many vampires here.  We come out to the stairs.  A vampire comes out, Gwyneth and Hughe Intimidate him.  We enter the room, find an old man in a cage with a device.  He’s not a vampire.  He says Lolani is the head of the House.  He’s been a prisoner a long time.  She’s in the Temple of Night (South Door), her coffin is in the Hall of Dreams.  He is Manfred Unger, he’s a scientist from Quaternian Society (The Admiralty).   He was captured to do a rabies vaccine (which he can’t do) no he make Moon/Sun Clocks.  We put the tied-up vampire in the cage.  We interrogate the vampire, he says he has not alerted anyone.  “Don’t go into the Sanctum of Valley” Killing everyone.  If Lolani dies, we all move up.  We pass without trace down the stairs.  The floor of the Moonwell has a glowing relief of the Monn’s face.  We go South.  Candles lit.  6 coffins on the sides.  Three glyphs in the circular alcoves.  The coffins are open with no one in them.  Gwyneth and Hughe begin blessing the coffins.  
Roland examines the Glyphs. The glyph circles are a place of meditation, for having waking dreams.  
North seems to be a room like the South room with 3 alcoves, an astronomical clocks.    
East seems to be a room with pillars with a curtain at the end.  It is probably the Sanctum of Valley.
We go North.  A small table in each alcove with small statues.  One statue is a statue of Ajana.  Second one is standing, the third is sleeping.  There are crypts/graves.  Three people stride in, one of them is Lolani.  Marina fires the shaft of Sigrid at Lolani which creates sunlight over her.  She does the same to another vampire.   Roland uses his light crossbow on Lolani.  Gwyneth swings at Lolani missing her.  Hughe casts Calm Emotions to protect us from Fear and summons Spiritual Weapon.  The third vampire does not engage.  Lolani cast a swarm of luna moths on Roland.  Gwyneth Smites.  Roland hides behind the clock.  Mariana, Geoffraie and Hughe all attack, also using Ranger’s Mark and Hex.  Lolani is defeated! and burns in the sunlight.  We battle the other vampire.  The other vampire is defeated and burns in the sunlight.  The third vampire doesn’t intervene.  Others enter, Guinita, and Tamara Marshal.  They acknowledge that Roland keeps the Bat’s Head sword as he won in a fair fight.  They let us leave.  The Sanctum of Valley is full of vampires.
