Stepmother of Beowolf wife of Carric. She lived in a village that was part of Highpyre, where in her village women are not allowed to train as warriors but Pale Moon's father showed her how to master the great spear. When her village was attacked for its greencake deposits Pale Moon picked up a great spear from a fallen warrior, found the tribe elder under attack, and killed the invader. After her village moved into Highpyre a gathering of the elders was held and it was decided that she would be exiled instead of death. She wandered Highpyre and met my stepfather, one who did not believe in the old ways. He took Pale Moon as his wife and taught her the ways of being a blacksmith. But to the women of her village she is known as the warrior princess. She trained me, Beowolf, to be master of the great spear.
